Accessibility Statement

1. Scope and legal framework

This statement applies to the website of ZiaNeo Systems UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G., published at zianeo.de (including lab.zianeo.de).

Our offering is directed exclusively at companies, self-employed persons, organisations and public authorities (B2B). Accordingly, we consider that our website does not fall within the scope of the German Accessibility Reinforcement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), which primarily addresses services offered to consumers. Nevertheless, accessibility is important to us — we voluntarily follow the standards of EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA.

2. Current state of implementation

Based on our self-assessment, the website is partially conformant with the referenced standards.

Implemented:

Keyboard operation for interactive modules and forms
Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
High-contrast text and colour choices (WCAG AA body text)
Respect for prefers-reduced-motion in animations and the hero video
Alternative text for content-bearing images
Subtitles for spoken voice content (rendered next to the Neo section)
Language switcher German / English
Labelling of AI-generated content in accordance with the EU AI Act

Not yet fully implemented / in progress:

WebVTT caption track directly within the BauNeo product video (captions are currently rendered outside the video and synchronised)
Focus trap inside modal dialogs
Automatic translation of the zoom-modal UI mockups into the English interface
